Being a popstar as big as the One Direction boys and Little Mix girls might seem like pretty much the coolest job on the planet, but as we’ve seen over the past week with that infamous Zouis video, one slip-up can cause a massive amount of drama.
The world has gone bladdy nuts after seeing Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik filming themselves allegedly smoking weed in Peru, but Little Mix girls have spoken out to defend their 1D pals, and explain that being as famous as the boys comes with a lot of pressure.
Speaking to Wales Online ahead of their show in Cardiff, the girls admitted that being role models to millions of fans is a lot of responsibility, but we have to all remember that they’re just normal, young people who make mistakes like the rest of us.
Jesy explained: “We don’t really call ourselves role models to be honest. If people look up to us that’s a massive compliment; we are just being ourselves.”
“It’s a massive responsibility and when you are young you make mistakes. But when you do make mistakes you learn from them”, she added.
Seeing as she’s gonna be one of the Zerrie bridesmaids, it’s probably a good thing that she’s on Team Zouis, otherwise the wedding speeches could all get a bit awks. And Perrie might have tripped her up on stage that night if she'd told Zayn off.
ANYWAY, Jesy Nelson ladies and gents - pretty much voicing the opinion of basically every single fandom going about the Zayn and Louis vid. She’s a clever one.
